The great Baking Recipes prepare tasty BreadYesterday, I've discovered a great baking recipe from one of my favorite e-books on baking bread and immediately gone in to the kitchen and have have begun baking of the afterwards result. And I did work hard at this one, as I always did, a couple of hours and after I then finally opened the big oven to see what exactly I've cooked only to see something I didn't expect. Boy, was I angry. Not only I have found that this bread I baked didn't look anything like I saw on the photo, but it didn't taste nowhere as good as the recipe says or as I have though I would get either. And I think I will even say that it was a bread from my nightmare. It is true that bread baking is definitely not an easy process and even sometimes tedious, but it is all part of having a good time! I enjoy baking, but today I have failed. The funny thing is though that I followed the cook book from exactly step by step from that baking recipe I've read and sure did do all right. Many dudes never succeed to bake the bread they want because it's a delicate process and gals & guys often get tired and stop after just a few unsuccessful attempts and that is the worst part, because there are thousands of that baking recipes to choose from and hundreds of different techniques taught by many of different dudes and you are going to get skilled at it all only comes with working at it. So, what transforms you into a great baking specialist? I would say knowledge, determination and effort with practice. Some basic knowledge can change bakers experience surely. E.g. there are methodologies that prevent bread from sticking to the bread pan this can be fixed with only some fundamental understanding and yet can stay extremely painful if you don't have the knowledge. So, believe it or not, holding that baking recipes in your hands is just half of this equation. Also, talking about baking recipes, - how confident are you that the recipe you hold gives you the best available way you can bake? You won't discover in many, unless you are a chef already. This is yet another problem there are 1 000's of cooking-books that hold gazillions of various recipes in them, and not all are good. One of the other vital in my opinion and from my experience parts which will improve taste of your bread is cornmeal. You can prepare your bread much better and tastier by simply adding cornmeal, and here is how it works: while you oil your cooking pan, you add the cornmeal to your pan after you slightly oil it as usual. This is going to cause the bread to stick to the cornmeal while you are baking & that will make your task a lot easier when extracting your baking creation after it finished baking. That is all! It is as easy as that, but improves the quality of your home-made bread as well as improving average baking experience. This method is very popular and used amongst some of the best chefs and is working with all types of know breads, so try it today and you will not be disappointed! |
